All the gear and no idea - road shoes - Sidi?

I have bought some look pedals and now need shoes to match. Are Sidi the best and where can I go and try some on (North London)

Sidi, Bont, Northwave, Specialzied BG have some nice top end shoes. If you really want to be flash get yourself the Rapha shoes and some shoe tree to go with

I'm going to try some Bont Vaypors I think, the BOA things on the s works are doing my head in.

If you have the cash to splash, my current favorites are the specialized 1974 edition shoes in kangaroo leather, around £250

I like them, so easy to adjust and they fit so well. Mind you, the tongue area does tend to rub on one of my ankle bones. I used thicker socks and commuted in them to stretch that area a little bit and now everything seems better.

Mind you, I've never tried the Sidi ones.

I'm considering changing my SiDIs for some fizik shoes as the pair I tried on where silly comfy R1's ( i think) but as someone else said get what feels comfy regardless of brand, colour or how much carbon its meant to be made uP of.
