I think it works, but cobalt on the whole isnt the most popular colour. Will show swirls/scratches like a biatch also.

I like it though!

My 997.2 has Aqua blue and stone grey interior. Really like it. Don't hesitate to buy it

Cobalt is a fantastic colour, and is a great match for Stone Grey IMO.
Cobalt cars hardly ever come up and when they do, they don't hang around, so no worries!

Yes it will affect resale, but if you like it, buy it.

Expect to hear:
When buying
Sir this is a rare colour
When selling
Sir this is not a popular colour

I spotted it today and also wondered about the interior colour. I really want a non silver 997 and like the blue, but would have preferred a black interior. Funnily enough RSJ also have a turbo in the same colour combination

No it won't?!? I used to have a cobalt 997 and it was fine, no marks, no swirls, looked great. Much less hassle to look after than my current 911 which is basalt black. I chose it specifically because it was cobalt and I was gutted that I couldn't find a cobalt GT3 when I bought mine hence settling for black.

just to note that all of RSJ's cars have their photos taken indoors under those fluorescent strip lights, which does make all the colours look a little odd and, in some cases, a tad matt and lifeless.

You cant really predict how this sort of thing affects resale value - trends change and its all about individual taste - so personally I wouldnt bother trying. Buy what you like, it will be your car, after all

(IMHO cobalt looks utterly fantastic in natural light).

That car looks stunning, I can't believe you are even having to ask, get it bought.

I have a Cobalt 996 turbo.

The car is over 10 years old now & looks great, very few swirls.

I would have had a black car in the past, but after a mate bought a black turbo he advises against it, and he is a detailing nut!

Get the turbo one instead!

Black is one of those colours that looks scruffy when dirty but fantastic when clean ...

Great. Now I'm probably going to start obsessing about a cobalt GT3...

I was going to comment almost exactly the same thing. Black is one of the most popular colours for a 997 and it shows up swirl marks the worst.

I like the Cobolt Blue and I think the Stone interior works better than black. The car in the OP's first post looks great and I'd go for it if I was in the market for one.
