Helicopters landing In Industrial Estate

Whilst at work today, my colleague and I saw 2 helicopters land in the industrial estate in Burgess Hill. The first helicopter was a Jet Ranger, the second a Eurocopter EC135. I've had a look on google and I can't find anything about todays event. Does anyone on here know why they landed?

Private site? Maybe visitors, perfectly legal ;-)

Yeah I think they landed in a carpark that belongs to CAE. I know the helicoptors had nothing to do with CAE, as my colleague saw two CAE employees, and they told him the helicoptors had nothing to do with them.

Well CAE would know what it was about as they'd have to give permission to for the landings to take place.

After looking on google maps, it appears the helicoptors landed on a peice of greenland.I think the greenland is owned by the council. I should of said that the the Jet Ranger landed and then took off before the Eurocopter landed. The only big companies nearby are Tesco and Porsche. The helicoptors had nothing to do with Tesco and I doubt Porsche would of had anything to do with the helicopters.

There is a big open green space next to my local league 2 football club which is sometimes used as a helipad. It always causes much excitement that some multi-millionaire is coming to buy the club when in reality it's just a handy place for a multi-millionaire to land their helicopter whilst they conduct whatever business they have to conduct in the city.

Then we had some posh tts dad arrive by chopper for something or other. While he was there it snowed like fk, visabilty went down to nothing and he couldnt take off again. How we laughed.

Laughed? Why? because he's successful enough to own his own helicopter? I'd have offered him a cup of tea while he waited for his 'driver'

There are other places where the helicopters could of landed more easily. I just find it wierd that two helicopters landed in a small area within 20 mins of eachother.

Ditto - had a SeaKing visit and take us on a brief trip around the area. Was much fun as a 14 year old spotting my house from 1000 feet.

Thinking back, my enthusiasm afterwards was probably what inspired my mother to buy me an introductory flying lesson at Booker a couple of Christmases later, when I was 16.

used to have milly helis take us up all the time, or forces parents visiting their kids, or the rich dads flying in for speech days.

We get this all the time but there usually police training exercises.Could be the same thing as you saw
