Leven Kick Plates for the S
Discussion
Well, I just dropped my V8S off at PPC / Leven in Melton for some work ready for some high speed charity runs in June (1.7 mile straight, only 5-10 cars using it
) and they showed me the new kick plates they got in.
They're thick and heavy and look great quality. I think 10 sets have been made but 4 have gone already. Well worth a look if anyine needs some, especially with S Club coming up

. I forgot to say, there are two styles 'TVR' or 'S' as the logo.Regarding the events, each year I try and arrange for TVR CC to attend a base or two to support their events. For example, we have been to Cottesmore and Wittering in the past and were due to go to Scampton until the Red Arrow had the dreadful accident and the show was cancelled.
This year, so far, I have arranged two in June. One will be a major air display the other has a small air display due to a change of use for the base and a clash with a Royal show. So, we had a different idea. They are concerntrating harder on ground activities and we will be offering 'experience' runs for people that win charity prizes. I tested the 'circuit' this week, it is about 3.6 miles but the straight is apx a massive 1.7 miles long which should allow a fair turn of pace. Oh, and only about 7 cars are likely to be using it too so it should be safe
. The others will be parked in a prominant place forming a static display. If it works, I'm hoping for something similar next year.
All spaces have gone I'm afraid, security means details are gathered well in advance. It ofetn takes some weeks to arrange but confirmation is normally short notice. I post details on TVR CC and usually all spaces go within 2 days.

Can't wait Dave, really looking forward to this
I've got you down as a passenger with Dale for the first (which I don't think you're certain you can attend) and taking your car to the second, is that right?
