Picking up my sister tonight, leaving Poole at 10:00 her flight arrives at 1:55am. I'm in no hurry and will probably be a Fleet services for a while. What's parking like there and how long am I allowed to stay if anyone knows? Cheers.

Officially you have 60 mins wait at the McD's/BP at the south terminal so you could spend 60 mins there then go to the North terminal for 60 mins. (You will get "fined" if you stay over, but trust me, just ignore all their letters.)

You can pickup your sis outside at both terminals: South go to the drop off zone and north next to the Sofitel hotel. Assuming your sister will let you know.

If going in wait at least 30/45 mins after flight has landed.

P.S I'll be down there in an hour!

P.P.S is she fit etc.

Tell you meet you at Departures. You might get asked to make a circuit or two if you're there for a while, but stay with your car and you won't get a ticket.

McD's if you get the timing right pull in for a coffee and get sis to call you as soon as she gets her bags back, by the time she gets out of the terminal you can be waiting for her

South terminal park in the 15min carpark on the perimeter road east.

http://tinyurl.com/SouthTerminal

you will need to get your sister when she arrives at the south terminal arrivals to walk upto Check in Zone A and in the top corner near the easyjet sales desk is a stairwell with some lifts on the far right signposted for Concoorde house.

If she walks down there and past the crew bus there is a 15 minute carpark with space for about 10-20 cars and you can pick her up there much less hassle than fecking about wit hthe carparks and overzealous parking attendants in the dropoff pickup areas.
