FM4 LMP1 Endurance championship

Forza 4 LMP1 Championship - next round 19th June

This championship will consist of 6 rounds. Races will be run on a Tuesday night. Lobby will open at 8:30pm

5laps qualifying - cosmetic damage - collisions off
1hour race - cosmetic damage - collisions on - 1pit stop between 10mins - 50mins - reverse grid - 1second roll off

Cars - Mazda 787B is banned because of performance reasons
Cars can be any le mans prototype car, can be LMP1 or LMP2, the highest PI you can have is 998 anything below is fine but no 999 X cars allowed. Storefront tunes are allowed. I will allow a car change if you require.

Paint
I would prefer a race replica paint - plenty of good ones on the storefront.

Any assist (except assisted braking/steering)
Any car view
Cosmetic damage

1st - 10
2nd - 8
3rd - 6
4th - 4
5th - 2

1st - 20
2nd - 15
3rd - 10

If you want a proper one then;

- Full damage on
- TCS on/off but everything else off
- One mandatory pit stop
- In car view

I can run this on a Wednesday night.
Races 1hour, qualifying - 4laps.
Any assist can be used (except assisted steering or braking) this is to keep it open to all people.
Any car view.
Damage on
Cars can be tuned up to 998 which is the top of R1 no X cars are allowed.
There are plenty of good tunes on the storefront.

Cool,
I will look at the cars later and pic the 6 tracks I will be running on.

Any more ideas? I want to get as many people in as possible, so I may bend the rules slightly if it will get more people involved.

I'm old. I've also never done any online racing before. Is it easy for an illiterate such as myself to join in? The last thing I want to do is to ruin it for the rest of you.

Yep it is fine for you to join in, I pressume you have xbox live. When I get some people intrested then I post up the final rules/tracks and start date.

Just a heads up James. I would consider running limited damage. If you run full you only have to tap the rear of a car and your front aero is knackered as is the persons you hit. Would ruin the rest of your race then. You could introduce drag tires to make pit choice part of the game too. Just my 10p's worth.

Cheers Dan. I am thinking about limited damaging, but I don't want people causing crashes like you see when there is no damage.

I thought about drag tires but seeing as I am allowing storefront tunes for people who can't tune (like me) then that is not a option.
