Track session at donington..

Weren't we lucky with the weather !
And the only red flag was caused by a Clio competition car who, in extricating himself from the kitty litter at the entry to the old hairpin, managed to distribute this liberally over the track from there up through Craners.
To add injury to carelessness. he then returned on track without clearing out all the gravel and finished the day off by spreading a little more happiness.
I know of two projectile damaged windscreens as an immediate consequence ....

I hope he got a black flag, a "talking to" and made to ensure it was all removed before going back out?I know of two projectile damaged windscreens as an immediate consequence ....

Unfortunately it was the very last few laps of the evening so he didn't get one. He'd removed a handful of gravel and sneaked back out on track. You're right of course that the car should have been checked before being let back out and obviously wasn't. He then thanked those of us who moved over to let him through by spitting gravel out of his brakes all over our windscreens.
I managed to dodge the projectiles but two others weren't so lucky.Apart from that it was a great night.
Here's our favourite pic taken by Mike (A9XXC):
Your car looks too heavy with foglights Steve - you need some of these:

I agree. It's about time I did that mod and think I'll go for the full FVD kit so that the ducts are there to actually cool the brakes and are not just for show. The Donny GP layout was really hard on brakes. They were suffering last night!http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-964-Ducts-/20064...
