Disaster! No brakes for Spa - Advice needed

Doing the last jobs tonight including replacing the servo hose. Started the engine to make sure that the servo was working and suddenly the pedal went near to the floor. I assumed that the servo hose was leaking but no! Fluid everywhere. One of the brand new braided brake hoses - front nearside caliper has failed - the pipe has pulled out of the end fitting. I will have to try and get a replacement from Stevsons before Spa. I am assuming it is impossible for a servo to develop enough pressure to blow a hose, that it is the hose which has insufficient crimping. Any advice welcome.

yes - they are a set and have been on the car for about 6 weeks. But I do know that they are a reputable supplier and I watched them being made up. I will try and get there Friday and sort it out. Mike, if I don't get a satisfactory answer I may ask for your spares - I retained the 4 pipe set up at the front. Starting to calm down now but a good thing it happened in the garage....
The more I think about this post the more scary it seems. This should be sober reading for the 'last of the late brakers' out there on the road. You know the sort, they hit roundabouts at unbelievable speeds hoping not to have to stop and then have to brake really hard, or, on the motorway they come up behind you at the closing speed of a jet fighter only to brake really hard to scare you into moving out of the way. Certainly makes you think !
A servo gives assistance based on vacuum. On tickover an engine in good condition will give a reading of 14 to 15hg on overun it will produce about 28hg of vacuum so on tickover it was only giving possibly half the assistance it could give you. Definitely not even at full vaccuum would it able to cause damage to hoses.
Did the pedal definitely go right to the floor as its a dual circuit system, at least some braking effort should have been available from the second (rear) circuit ?
On the road you would have had reduced braking effort in fact the rears would have locked up.... similar to banging on the hand brake. You would then have had to produce your own antilock by doing some 'Stutter' or Cadence braking, but, as Lewis Hamilton and Co are the only people who can think that fast it would have made for a scary moment !

you have got at least 6 days to sort it out. Would be surprised if a servo could cause your problem, probably just a dodgy hose.
