Ford Capri gearknob repair

Hello,

I have a 2.8 Injection special with a gearknob that is rapidly coming apart! Does anyone know of a place that sells new ones or restores old ones?
I have had a trawl through the usual internet sites but they only turned up horrible looking tacky halfords rubbish!

If ebay doesn't give you any joy, try Martin at Capri Gear in Lincolnshire - he's a top bloke.

Not aware of any supplier but you may find something suitable in the US if you Google shifter knobs.

Something like this is as good as I found.

Hurst also do nice black or white round ball shifters with a 6 postion 1-5 and reverse for Mustangs which would look good.

Try Burton power as they do a lot of ford style gearknobs

I think the Capri Club offer refurbished leather gear knobs, I've not been a member for a couple of years so not sure...
