My 'New' Cayenne S
Discussion
Hi All,
Picked up a 53 Plate Cayenne S 4.5 on Saturday.
Happy with it so far... few niggles.
Its sitting on 20" Techno wheels and seems to be sitting quite high... I dont think it has air suspension, but not sure. The ride is quite hard, i.e. feel every bump. Any way to stop this?
When I was on the motorway doing around 80, I could feel vibration in the steering wheel. Not loads, but enough to feel it... I think it could just be balancing/alignment?
At idle, there is a very light rumble I can feel from my seat. Nothing major and the RPMs aren't affected but can feel it. Ideas?
Its got 90k on the clock, Black, with sat nav, heated everything, had all the aluminium pipe work done (changed from plastic), full SH... 2 x Porsche Main dealer, 2 x Porsche Specialist..., paid 7500 for it...
Good deal I think?

If you have "Air" there should be 3 buttons behind the gear selector - Comfort/Normal/Sport - and a ride height toggle switch. I have 20s and Air and leave it in comfort 99% of the time, with ride height 1 down from Normal. Its sitting on 20" Techno wheels and seems to be sitting quite high... Can't help with the other niggles, sorry - unless the rumble is the car misfiring. Mine was miss firing on 5/8 on my drive home from the dealer!!! Didn't affect the RPMs as such but was pretty rough. Coil Packs, a common problem.
