Just wondered how we all spend our evenings. I like a beer, and possibly had too much tonight already.

Completely sober for the whole working week. Weekends are the exception of course.

sober as a judge.

But then it's 5:20 here and my boss probably wouldn't take too kindly to me being pished.

My answer will be different in about 2 hours.

This phrase was clearly noted by a person who has never dined with a judge..............

However, I rarely drink booze at all, so sober. Only just got home at 9.30pm anyways, can't be drinking and driving.

Well OK then.

Er...

I like white wine spritzers, I find some men attractive and I'm quite partial to a slice of quiche when I'm watching Eastenders.

Got caught on a long conf call at work so raided the Friday beer fridge when I "went to the toilet". Grabbed a couple of cans at the station when I finally left the office and then launched into a few more at my relatively new local when I got back. Maybe I should have done my work in the 70's.

As a rule I don't drink when I am on call for work however I needed to "test" my latest batch of homebrew cider. I look forward to being called out later.......

Doesn't the courtroom quote go:

Lawyer: At the time X was as drunk as a judge.
Judge: Surely you mean drunk as a lord?
Lawyer: Yes, my Lord.
