We all know its a buyers market - so the market is opening up - but what is the best Pork out there for peanuts?

928S4 - 5K would get you the car a retrim and some new paint:

944 Turbo:M030 - Probably haggle down to 4K

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-944-TURBO-S-1988...

Boxster with ambers - maybe sneak in for just under 5K

If you have the space any of these could be worth a punt for the summer?

Honestly. You would be better off as a long term investment with this.

There is no such thing as a cheap Porsche.

Cheap to buy, expensive to maintain.

When you look at Total Cost of Ownership £5K Pork doesn't really do it for me. It just opens the door for a proper money pit.

£5K will get you in to a 944 with some left for the first year's bills if you do your research first and buy well. They aren't that expensive to run, so long as you appreciate it's not a new car. I'd avoid the turbo unless you buy a well-sorted one and budget a bit more.

924S. Nimble little thing, simple to fix and has the 2.5 Porsche engine from the 944. Best bargain Porsche out there.

I'd buy the 928 S4. Pity that one is sold, I'd have bought it. smile
