Does it cost anything for spectators? If it does, how much would a return on the bus be from Abz? I'll be up in Abz Saturday anyway so if it doesn't cost too much, or at all, I'll be tempted to have a gander

I think the cost for spectators is only £4 or £5 for the whole day. I can't recall there being any bus stops nearby, but I'm sure some kindly people on this forum would be happy to offer you a lift there and back.

Sadly I'm going to miss this event yet again, as I'll be on my way to Alaska with work frown

It's £4-5 I think.

If you're needing a run out from Aberdeen, give me a shout, i'll be heading out on the Saturday.

What time does it all kick off? Was going to go watch the Dons end their season on a high (we can be optomistic stil cant we) but could easily be persuaded by a trip to the hillclimb!

  • **!
Was going to be heading up there, ready to sit on the tight 90 bend at the top of the hill, but have been kept offshore until at least the middle of next week.

Have a good one guys and get some pictures up smile

Unfortunately due to the heavy rain experienced in Aberdeenshire the Fintray Hillclimb this coming weekend has been cancelled. The whole area round about the venue is saturated and would not have any chance of drying out enough before Saturday.
