Grey Goose

Hi All,

I've just bought a rather large bottle of Grey Goose vodka and I like the idea of it sitting there before I open it and start to enjoy it. So, any idea how long I can keep a bottle of Vodka unopened before I need to open it?

if its out of direct sunlight, it will essentially last forever.

why would yoou just want to look at it? if you like the bottle keep the bottle an fill with water once drunk to give the effect of it being full

I couldnt have a full bottle of that stuff sitting around not being drunk.

Out the fridge, ice cold, either neat or with coke its great, but I alway end up drinking too much

I opened a large bottle on Friday evening, it was empty about 4 hours later. It won't last, it's too good not to drink.

If the bottle doesn't fit in the freezer it's useless......

Am I the only person that doesn't mix the likes of Grey Goose? It's far too nice a vodka to mix, in my opinion.

Even ice dilutes it too much.

That's why I keep my vodka in the freezer.... no ice cubes, no mixer, just pure and straight

Thats how I like it,straight from the freezer,such a smooth taste and far to good to mix.

Depends on the vodka. Obviously keep it in the freezer.
Grey Goose I'd have neat, Ketel One the same.

Zubrowka OTH....has to be with pressed apple juice.

Read somewhere that vodka shouldn't be kept in the freezer, as the aromas and tastes that come from the liquid need heat to escape and be flavourful.

Dunno, but I'm not a huge fan of the consistency after it's been in the freezer for a while - sort of thick / syrup like.
