Yep have a weekend ticket (yet to arrive).

Really cant wait, im just hoping that the weather will be semi decent. Must admit the 6 hours of rain on the Sunday back in 2010 didnt add to my enjoyment. Would have been dryer if I had been in a swimming pool.

I haven't got my tickets delivered yet but I can't remember the address I gave them now! Will have to check up on that.

I hope Bill Ward sees sense and signs up to the show too. I'd wager about the last chance to ever see the classic Sabbath line-up if he does! biggrin

I got my ticket! Also won passes to the snake pit at the front for Metallica! We are staying in a hotel, dont do camping especially as the british summer weather is anything but predictable.

Most looking forward to seeing Slash, Machine Head, Metallica, Saxon, BLS, Soundgarden and Sabbath.

Going up today. I think we will be getting wet, and not just on the inside.

Drivibg down M6 now - very wet and windy :-(

Some ridiculous driving given the conditions too!

But a cold cider awaits shortly!

We are leaving at around 12 noon. As long as I am there in time for Machine Head I will be happy.

Needless to say the wellies are packed!

Cold, wet, smelly, rock/metal music....

Nah, I'll wait for the dance music festivals later on in the year when it will be warm and sunny. (Hopefully!)

I've got a mate who always goes to the European festivals rather than Download and they all look so much better, and they're tonnes cheaper even when you factor in travel. It makes Download look pretty sh*t, to be honest.

I hate festivals though soooo...
