Watching eurosport on sky - GT racing's on. Was supposed to be at Chatsworth house today with the other 70 odd PHers but sodding Alfa clutch packed in - 650 notes.

Catching a few rays in the garden too!

Yeah, Chatsworth is next week.....
I can imagine the look on yer face had the clutch not gone

But what about everyone else, there are umpty-thousand members of this site and 4 have replied to this.......

What can people possibly find more interesting on a Sunday than PH! Ok, British GT's is maybe the exception but not everyone is at Silverstone surely!!

I'm not at Silverstone, just got back from work. Same thought as UmarB, "who the hell want's to buy glasses ('cept the one's filled with beer) on a day like today with the world cup on", bloody place was like a ghost town.
Looking forward to Chatsworth next weekend though.

Well we now have a fiat stilo courtesey car. It's like a punto that's been jacked up for no apparent reason. Needless to say it's utter shite. Not sure how long we'll have the pleasure of this eurobox, clutch going in wed hopefully.

I was going to check the chatsworth thread before going to check details & print a map anyway, honest! Got sidelined in the end.

Max Mosely (F1 boss) is on sky motors 416 now talking about how dull it is.

Max Mosely mentioned the F1 teams use an engine that only lasts 50km for the qualifying day! They then use another new engine for the race day itself, which lasts 400km. This is ridiculous! F1 has no relevance in the real world at all.

hey mcecm I was at the World Cup (DH mountain bikes) as well.

Was great but a pity Steve Peat didn't win. (mind you I was hoping Crawford Carrick-Anderson would win!)

Its amazing how fast those pros can go. fastest time was something like 4.33

Hopefully going up on Thurdsay again. (to ride the course this time) Ridden it before its absolutley amazing. Bloody difficult on a hard tail though....

I'm here too. Went to a nice roof down mid-arvo blast to the garden centre, loaded up with three bags of compost, a teracotta pot and twenty odd plants. All fitted in, plus passenger.

Spent the rest of the day wrestling with the garden and drinking beer, so no time to post on here until now.
