I have purchased a 1996 C4 Cab that has been off the road for 3 yrs at the moment it is at the upholsterers having a new hood and being completely re trimed I paid under £10k for it with 72k on the clock.I have been watching the blogs and have seen that gaskets etc. dry out and leak.
This car will be used as a summer/weekend motor. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Whatever way you look at it, that seems like a nice ride for the money...perfect timing for summer too! My advice, get a set of RSRs from Carnewal.

Oh, and welcome to Pistonheads smile

A lovely thing to enjoy over summer.

A convertible 911 for under £10k should be very solid when it comes to sell on as well.

Enjoy and welcome to Porsche ownership!

Hi All

Thankyou for your replies.

The car was off the road due to the previous owner being detained at her majesties pleasure.
whilst off the road the roof was vandilised and the weather got in.

Please enlighten me what are RSR's

Low cost replacement silencers that sound awesome. They are modified versions of originals, designed by a chap in the states called Robin Sun and sold in Europe by a lovely chap called Gert Carnewal.
