Not restored as such, but I bought a 1500 that had come back from the USA, 2nd gear syncro was knackered....

So I decided to give it a bit more legs I'd do the 5 speed Ford conversion, which lead me to thinking if I was going to do that I should fit an 1800 with a ported head, which lead me further thinking to fit a 3.9 diff....

I got it all ready to fit, total job was done in a weekend.

Nice simple car to work on.

Lovely thing to potter about in, much more modern feeling to drive than its predecessor a 100M Healey.

Bit short of legs on the motorway.

Very pretty.
