Tilgate Forest

I really fancy a burn through the trees this weekend, although I've never been to Tilgate, it's not all that far from me. Tapping into the superior knowledge of PH,can I ask; is it easy to park & is it feasible in these conditions where it's been raining for several years?

Not been there for a while but there's plenty of parking for sure if you park up by the lake.

I have only ever played golf there - thankfully I gave that up years ago in favor of a more enjoyable sport!!!

Parking isn't an issue, although I think the main car park is £3 or £4 these days.

However, I always park at the Tilgate Recreation huts in the forest as it's free there (or at K2).

I ride there quite a lot, often with a group on Wednesday evening. There is a fair amount of singletrack but it's knowing where it is and making a decent loop out of it, I usually do a circuit of c. 2 hours, mainly singletrack.
