Not sure if this has been done but wouldnt you like to know how your long gone steeds are faring years on.

I'll start off with a Humber Sceptre Mk 3 reg XLY829G Gloss black with jade & bottle green interior.

Bought in 1990 from a lady residing at the Barbican, so underground all its life, 44000 miles and immaculate.

Traded in 2 yrs later against a van!! (Colham Green Garage, West Drayton)

love to know if its still out there

Daimler 2.5 v8 BCY 488B in green with tan leather. We bought it in 1982 off the original owner with 51,000 on the clock and needing despite that a fair bit of work. For various reasons the work didn't get completed and it was sold in 1999 to a classic dealer - Hurst Park.

It is still taxed,or was last time I looked, and I'd love to know where it is now and perhaps even see it again.

Anyone seen it?

Just checked and it was last taxed in 2009 and isn't on sorn.Written off/scrapped?I hope not.

My late fathers 1962 TR4 - "9067 RW"

I would pay a decent finder's fee if someone can track this down - I know its SORN'd and have tried TR mags, clubs, written begging to the DVLA - all drawn a blank. I still keep looking out for it but no luck.

My first car - Lancia HPE PHK608R, I sold it with rusted REAR suspension turrets, but I know it was repaired and put back on the road, but that was about 1987.

My old Cooper S BSF 7B, bought as a 1071 single tank 1964 with some hillclimb history. Changed to a 970 bored out +40 to 999 with serious mods and a close ratio gearbox for the Scottish Hillclimb/Sprint road class.

Nothing on the DVLA that I can see.

Hillman Avenger Tiger Mk2 in Wardance Red ( CWS 50L ) First Registered by Ross of Lochrin Edinburgh early 1973 and run by the boss/director. Then sold to Colin McDonald (Radio Clyde) it was his partners car. I bought it in 1977 from Colin devoid of stipes and spoiler. I then sold it on to a chap from Ardrie a year later.......It would be nice to know if it was still alive and kicking ?

Done the DVLA thing and not there.
