Quite amazingly, our old technical drawing teacher at Stourport High School back in the late 80s, Mr Rodgers as we knew him, Ricky Cool as everyone else knew him, played sax in Sanchez's then band, The Big Town Playboys. Saw them loads back then and always had a superb time.

Even more amazingly, our teacher got Mike, the upright bass player and drummer to come along to our school to do an impromptu demonstration of the various strands of boogie woogie, rhythm and blues, country swing and early rock 'n' roll and how they all fitted together as a music lesson. Quite possibly the greatest hour of music I ever heard...and so glad he's still at it...
