I prefer the other trailer as it gives more detail.

Seems to be taking the mic abit announcing it so soon after MW3 was out.

I quite liked black ops, but the combination of no one on here playing it and ridiculous lag spoilt it alot.

I think it looks, well, st, to be completely honest. Although maybe I'm being slightly prejudice, as the first Black Ops was st.

Looks like the same Tryarch chod with different scenery. Agree with above, it's too soon, it's not out for another 6 months. Oh well, they can only improve it from the last I suppose.

What 6 months after the last MW3 which was announced 6 months after BO was released...

Theres a new COD game every year and launched around the same sort of time.

Either way ill just rent this one for the single player and see how bad the 'lag' (yes i suffered terribly from it as well, was the host most of the time) is on multi-player

I think it looks good and there were quite a few of us on PS that played regularly.

Black ops was excellent, especially zombies. Hopefully this will be just as good.

That looks woeful hehe

Cod is dead. Fact. It's only the name keeping it alive.

Have to agree with the above. MW2 was about the best the series ever got in my opinion. This constant renewal of the same theme is all merging into one now. I can't see how this looks any different from the last few iterations.

All in my opinion though! smile

unfortunately for us but fortunately for them, theres millions of young kids coming up through the ranks and who is, id imagine, there main age group/purchasers.

I reckon if all of us 'oldies' stopped buying it, it'll still be the biggest gaming sale of all time.Though itll be interesting to see what happens with BO2 as alot of my 'buddies' quite playing MW3 due to all the issues.

Can't believe people are still buying into the COD series. If you pick the game apart you'll see the engine has been the same for a long time, minimal work is done to keep it fresh each year so essentially people are paying full price for new map packs along with some skins. Not only that, the gameplay is shocking with the maps and stories being so linear, it's just a case of shoot, move foward, shoot, move forward.

And if you were to read the information out there for this game, you'd see that they are mixing things up this time around, with branching paths and story-lines.

I'm seemingly in the minority of people who quite enjoyed Black Ops. I've recently fallen out of love with BF3 since they spoiled the fun with updates, and never really liked MW3 much, so a few of us fired BlOps up recently. Still a lot of fun, not overcomplicated, just a brainless shooter that doesn't take itself too seriously.

But.

This new one... I really, really hope the trailer is in no way representative of the game. I don't mind futuristic (though I've not played the Halo series, yet), but it looks terrible.

How can you complain it is similar to the original mw1 etc when they were so awesome.

If you dont like it, chances are its because you are st at it.
