Brake & reverse lights out

Both my brake and reverse lights are not working. Given they are on a common fuse I guess the problem is upstream of the fuse box somewhere, unless they are on a common ground too. Has anyone else had this?

Yes. Mine were not working all the way to Le Mans and back. Every time I replaced the fuse it would go pop again, however not until I had done a couple of miles. TVR Power kindly had a look at the switches to check that the connectors where not shorting out whilst at Pistonfest however to take it further they need to get under the car. I have not yet managed to get the car to them so I have no solution as yet. I suspect a chaffing wire is shorting on the chassis somewhere.
