FAO Anyone who sleeps in their van

Just a heads up for any one who does sleep in work/panel vans and the like when away for the weekend. Make sure there is adequate ventilation!

Appears a local rider has died at the weekend whilst sleeping in his van, speculation surrounding the cause of death seems to be centred on carbon monoxide poisoning though nothing is confirmed.

This sounds odd I can only assume the engine was running or a portable gen was close by ?

A guy on STW (apparently) confirmed an undiagnosed heart problem rather than CO poisoning. Very sad either way.

Worth warning though - there are always a few cases each year of people putting stoves or bbqs in their vans then going to sleep, some get found in time the next morning, some don't.

Very sad news, I caught a lot of the tweets and facebook posts during the period he was missing. Feel very sorry for his OH and family.
