Sorry to go over what will no doubt be a common question...

I've just added a 987 Boxster to the fleet with CDR 23 and Bose.

Can you help me with options for adding ipod connectivity please?

I'm up for a really basic option to start with. Essentially because I'm simple.

Otherwise any advice on what might work if I take it somewhere and get something fitted.

Cheers

You're absolutely right, it is a common question. And instead of filling up the forum with yet another variation of the same theme why don't you just search on iPod - PCM - Porsche etc, and you will find out all there is to know.

Then if there's something that is not answered you could post that question and we'll all learn something new.

Wrong side of bed this morning ?

If it pisses you off when folk ask questions that have been asked, don't open the thread, simples.

Not so simples really. The thread topic is 987 iPod connectivity. I, like most other people interested in this topic would hope this is something new to the topic and open the thread to look. Only to find out that it is just another general post asking questions that have been answered many in this forum and others.

I'm using a Dension Gateway which is not a cheap option unless you buy it second hand.

I just installed an iconnect fm.2 wired ipod modulator this weeked and as a quick/cheap upgrade to my 987.1 cdr24 headunit it works pretty damn well..

Nearly as good if not as good quality as the cdchanger playing the same track, fitted it myself in 2hrs and it only cost £40 from ebay. smile

Cheers
