S2000 Maintenance Records - Share your Experiences

I've owned my V-reg S2000 for 4 1/2 years. It is fabulous, and very rarely causes any trouble (that aren't caused by me spinning it or parking it in sliproad crash barriers).
But there are two problems with it at the moment:
1) Misfire, with engine management light on. It's due to go back to Honda at the end of the week, but wondered if anyone had experienced similar.
2) Obscured rear windscreen. Anyone got a surefire solution for the hazing of the polythene window? Other than replacement, which involves the removal of the entire roof.
Please share your experiences/advice.

Don't know about the misfire but a lot of people reckon that the plastic screen refurbisher sold by BMW dealers is the best. Have a look at the s2k site here: www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=25 where you will get loads of useful info.

I think this is quite a common issue, try tapping the MAP sensor with a rubber mallet.

With respect to the roof: (edited: thats not meant to sound quite so Ali G!)
I have been using 303 Aerospce protectant from The Polishing Company for the rear window on my Griff.
Its bloody superb stuff for everything. Cleans, protects and softens.
The polishing company may well do a specialist thing for the window too.
BTW: Im in no way connected to them but having bought one of there £60 kits recently Im amazed at how brilliant the products are. The car wax is simply fantastic.

OK, took the car in to Brayleys Honda in St Albans. They didn't pick up on the MAP sensor, but said there was a recall on my sparkplugs (the sort of recall that only occurs when something goes wrong). So got new plugs and seats on Honda, plus new oil injectors, another recall they forgot to recall me for.
The rear screen showed improvement as soon as the 303 got near it. Still lots of work to do but much better than it was.

Try that 303 as a tyre, wheel and interior cleaner too.
Its amazing stuff. Stops dirt sticking to surfaces and makes then easier to clean in the future. Non sticky yukky product too.
Im just put some 303 washer tablets in the Golf. Seem good so far. It meant to remove all those nasty aliens that land on the windscreen and is still safe to the paint and environment. I'll let you know how it goes.
I also just polished and waxed the Golf using the polishing companies P21S. I didnt realise it was supposed to be metallic green!
