Some racer kid on 5th gear not so long ago

In the last week or two 5th gear interviewed a youthful racing driver - about 16 or so - whose name escapes me (me an old fart?).

My wife says she liked the car he was driving - anyone have any idea what it is?

While I'm busy having nightmares about a max power special on the drive, it would be useful to know what the car (roadgoing version!) actually is.

The kid your thinking about is Tom Boardman who was racing in the production class last year. He raced a Peugeot 306 and was No. 77. He's now with Edenbridge Racing and is driving a BMW 320i.

I suspect it was the peugeot on the TV, the fleeting glimpse I saw of it didn't look too BMW-ish
(wallet heaves a sigh of relief)
