hi all please help

hi there peeps i own a boxster on a 98 plate its been running sweet as a nut for years but recently on start up from cold when i set off i keep getting power fluctuations putting me foot down theres power then no power but this is only for about 500 yards then seems to clear its self been told it could be the mass air flow sensor just seeing if you guys have experienced anything like it but also if i warm the car up it doesnt do it grrrrrr any help would be much appreciated cheers alex ,


would upload a pic of car but it wont let me its only 1.2mb it says 2mb max so im confused lol.
