New York Flights - What's the best price?

[Pulse]

What's the best price people have seen recently for flights to New York? The best I can currently find is £399, which I was hoping to improve on.

That's with Virgin Atlantic (not sure how good they are in the 'budget' class?) in May.

Are you talking about returns, if so how long do you want to stay and are you flexible on dates? What UK airports would you consider using?

Happy to use pretty much any airport, and we're pretty flexible on dates. We'd like to stay around 7 days, but a few more wouldn't hurt!
