Forget who is selling the cars for a moment.

2006, 45,000 miles, £35,000
or
2007, 31,000 miles, £38,000

That already looks like a no brainer. Then factor-in the levels of preparation, piece of mind, and the 2 year warranty that come with the approved car....

What are you waiting for?!

If you go the OPC route, do you HAVE to go to Porsche for anything you want doing on the car in order to maintain the warranty?

Are both cars the same model? There's quite a difference between a standard Carrera (3.6) manual and a C4S Tiptronic (assuming they're boith coupes).

Yes, this.

There's also the peace of mind.

How about the one at RSJ and negotiate the 111 point OPC check and warranty into the deal?

What is the benefit of the RSJ car?

(I don't think RSJ can put on an OPC warranty can they? Is there not some 90 days rule or somesutch?)

Cheaper and better spec

RSJ can't put the warranty on, but they can discount it off the price of their car

I would (and I did) buy from RSJ

You would get the car you want with the decent spec and if you are worried you can add a warranty which would take the price to 36k. You would not have to go to an OPC for things like battery being changed etc either!

Any further details on the cars in question? Are they both the same engine (3.6 or 3.8)

Hi there both cars 3.8. Mileages not that different. Problem is I live in Scotland, Porsche Edinburgh 20 min away whereas RSJ is at the other end of the country. The spec on RSJ car appeals to me but no nothing about the garage. Reputation

The RSJ car is a 3.8 4S.
What is the Opc car ?
Not much of a comparison without knowing that detail ?
