So i have just e-mailed a complaint to Pukka Pies.

I'd call that a result. Why people like to eat something that produces urine I do not know.

Reckon your case should be taken up by the daily mail. They'll take your story of a pie without its advertised filling, and creatively turn you into a woman that Samantha Brick aspires to be, who regularly has sex with simon cowell a scandalous 12 times a night, while eating a Pukka Pie without its advertised filling (the horror of it!!!!)

if you've got the time to write complaint letters about such folly i'd suggest you have enough time on your hands to cook your own piss filters, dice them and add them to your pie??

failing that you could always throw yourself down the stairs or sit in the car with a hosepipe pumping the exhaust fumes through the window because god knows how anyone could cope in the face of such abhorrent behaviour on pukka's part

I had one last night - can't say I noticed the lack of kidney. Perhaps there was no smallish piece of kidney but the filling/gravy tasted like it had some in.

Off topic slightly, but I've just finished a Pukka chiken & mushroom pie for lunch, and can confirm that both the chicken and mushrooms were present and correct. lick

A lesson to be learnt here. Wrights pies are just better.

My complaint to the Pukka people would be why can you only buy the delicious (albeit in a filthy, feel bad about yourself afterwards way) Chicken Balti ones at football matches and not in the supermarkets??

I can't understand why a thread about Pukka Pies is in the Food forum, can a mod move it somewhere more appropriate? Health Matters perhaps?

Pukka pies are ste, nearly as bad as Ginster's pepper pies. You want Higgidys instead, they do em in Sainsburys. They're expensive in comparison, but worth it taste wise. yes

No, you don't want any pie that is mass produced in a factory that pays minimum wage, plus shift allowance, and does so 24/7. Local butcher / deli or do it yourself IMO.
