Got two grand off it but checked last night and they had took a grand off it thereselves.so it's now 38.9. They said they do a leakage/ compression check on all used cars now.i asked about the chance of over revs in the range 4 but they said everything was ok.is it worth getting an independent check done on this or is that a waste of money.i really want PSE too. I also want 4 new tyres and 12 months road tax. But are reluctant. What's this worth and what are the chances of them fitting a PSE should I be braizent and offer 35 k with all the above done ?????
First impressions are that its a few grand overpriced as it is.
Certainly would want an independent PPI. Not much at that price, I wouldn't trust someone else's say so.
Shouldn't be an issue negotiating around £35k, with all that done it might be a bit keen!

When I first looked at it it was 39.8 k and the offered to take 2 k off it for a sale.Checked yesterday and they have took 1 k off the asking price.so it's now on the forecourt for 38.8k. So I should still get 2 off it so that would be 36.8. How much is PSE to fit from porsche? I can live without road tax but would want new tyres. What would be my best plan for bargaining?
PSE is about £2.5k fitted, plus tyres would be £1200ish, road tax £460.. thats a big ask IMO with already having £2k off the screen price.. though in fairness your PPI could through up a few k's worth of worth required, you'll never know.. how much is an OPC car with PSE and similar other spec?
Can't seem to find any from Porsche in the colour I like with PSE and within my budget.. Found two at JZM but have no idea how good they are. They give u a 1 years warranty. But it's not a Porsche warranty. Also a few at RSJ but again know nothing about them.living in Scotland it's a pain when I think I would want to view them first.whats the feedback on non official Porsche garages. Not sure about some of the garage warranties.not worth the paper they are printed on.. I really need help on what path to follow please

Sorry to hijack but since you have been looking to buy and I am considering on selling...please advise what you think would be a fair price...I have a 997s 2006 Basalt Black. 46k miles. Bought from OPC approved used. Has Porsche warranty till Dec 12. Road tax till Oct 12. 4 nearly new n rated tyres. Sat nav, bose. New clutch replaced circa 1500 miles ago. Booked in for minor service at opc byfleet next week.
