I'm up and down to aberdeen through work at least once a week and if I'm doing an overnight I'll usually book a hotel the day before or so.

I'm going up tomorrow and *literally* everywhere in the city centre is booked out?

Is something going on??

Even the serviced apartment places are full... Noticed trump arrived yesterday as well, he must've booked them all out "just in case".

I'll just need to phone around in the morning before meetings

Originally I'd disregard all of the holidaypremierlodge inn kind of places.. but they're booked too!

I suppose I just don't know why, the fact I'm not going to find something is an irritation more than anything

Hi

Depends where you need to stay and if youre flexible to travel but could try Ardoe House, bit more expensive but if you can claim travel expenses might be worth it!!

Example is playing at the AECC, but I can't see this filling all the hotels.

Aye, I see Trump is gracing 'Deen with his presence.

What about the hotel overlooking UTG?

Apparently it's Aberdeen Fashion Week (which made me laugh), a colleague from our Humber facility was trying to get a room for 3 nights this week and ended up in a guest house somewhere around Stonehaven.

WTF x eleventytwelve billion.confused You could always try the youth hostel on Queens Road, it's usually got a space somewhere, especially midweek.

Aberdeen Fashion Week just doesn't work does it?

Although there are some wannabe fashionistas tottering about of a night.

That's what I thought, how on earth can there be enough people interested in G-Star Raw and Burberry who don't already live in Aberdeen wanting to come here to fill all the hotels and B&B's?

Oh well, every day's a schoolday...
