Problem with SD card or camera...
Discussion
...or both or none????
Canon EOS60D, just over a year old. Named brand SD card - 16Gb.
The problem [I think] I have is that the 'Access Lamp' won't stop blinking, from the moment I turn the camera on to when I turn it off, it's always flashing. Surely it's not writing, reading or transferring constantly. I noticed it midway through shooting about 5-600 shots on Saturday. It continued to take/store images and didn't seem to buffer premarturely, either. I was also able to view/cycle through the shots without issue.
I've never noticed this as normal behaviour before - anyone got any ideas? Am I witnessing a fault with the card or camera.
Any comments greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Scott

Have you tried formatting the card with the camera? Sometimes if you just keep taking shots off and putting new ones back on they can get a little mixed up. If your camera has it try a deep format of the card, I reckon it'll clear it up.
^ Top man.I removed the tick from the 'Low level Format' option and ran format.
Closed the Menu
Turned off camera
Turned it back on and no flashing Access Lamp.
Took several shots on continuous and stopped flashing once they had been written.
It's the first time I'd chosen that level of card format but it was also the only time I've ever put more than 1000 shots on the card in one go - don't know if that had any bearing on it.
Thanks again Mark - problem [for now] solved
