996 Key fob issue

One of my key fobs have stopped working?!
It strange I thought the battery might have gone but checked when pressing the button the red light is still flashing so suggests the battery is ok?
My spare key works so the issue must ly witht the key, any suggestions/help!!

Needs reprogramming, they sometimes lose the code to operate the central locking off the button - it will still unlock and start the car just using the blade

There may be enough power to light up the diode, but not to transmit a signal

They are st, flimsey and break all the time.





Did I mention how st they are?

This happened to my spare, I'm sure all I needed to do was put in in the ignition and press the fob button??

It wasn't my spare I tried the other way round was hopin it would revive by unlocking with witht the spare then using the one that isn't working in the ignition for a half hour drive as thought it may re charge once car was running but no luck!!
