Afternoon all,

I need to replace my point and shoot to something that takes good clean blur-free images. I have a DSLR for when I want to take my time but to be honest it is a little too cumbersome when you are out and about and want something that will fit in your pocket/bag.

Cost wise I'm prepared to spend up to £250. My old camera is a Fujifilm F10 which has always taken cracking images but for some reason it seems to blur about 75% of images the last month or so I have been using it (I'm guessing it has had a 'knock' about a month ago and didnt' realise).

I recently got a sony dsc-hx9v (catchy name!). Early days yet but seems pretty good, and I get it for £199 in sainsburys. Only thing is that it won't soot RAW.
The Canon S100 get's good reviews here but they're a bit more than you want to spend.

S95? You can pick them up for well under your budget. I've had mine a few months and it's the camera I use most at the moment.

I've just seen a Fujifilm X10 that seems to get good reviews: I can get one for £350 which looks good value for money too. Slightly above my budget but if it is really good I can go for it. Does anyone know what they are like? I like the ability to fine tune the picture being taken but my wife will just want to point and shoot so can it be set to 'auto' mode to point and shoot???
