A warning if cycling near Cobham

Afternoon all.

As a word of warning, my first 50 mile ride was rudely interrupted this morning by the actions of some utter prick who had scattered drawing pins all over the road near the Plough pub in Downside. I picked up a puncture, as did at least one other guy.

We cleared all the pins off the road, but it obviously wasn't accidental, so anyone riding round there, just be aware of the risk.

Thanks for that. I'm doing the Sandown Cyclone sportive tomorrow and the route goes through that area. I wonder if they just got the wrong day?!

I think the Police take a rather dim view of that so worth reporting at least.

Edit: especially if there's a Sportive through there tomorrow! Event organisers too.

A few garages in Manchester have told the lads in work that nob heads are putting nails in the tram tracks, so it's quite easy to pickup a puncture going along those to.
