Help! Snapped Wheel Nut

Hi,

I've managed to snap the locking wheel nut off on the MINI - the wheels haven't been off in a while!

As a result, I need to get the remaining lug removed and then get the thread tapped - does anyone have a recommendation of where to get this done? It is a job for a garage or an engineering firm, or would Kwik-Fit etc be able to sort it?

Any tips or recommnendations would be appreciated.

I'm near Luton if there's anyone local.

it would have to be done by a garage i would not trust kwit-fit even if they said they could do it..

Thanks for the reply. KF said they wouldnt try, and another local garage said he too wouldnt get invoved.

Took it to a place called PAN Autos in Harpenden and they sorted it for me for the princley sum of £50.
