I'm coming to Glasgow to get a passport in the next few days. The office is in cowcaddens, but I need to bring the car. Anybody know where the best place to park is in the area. I'll be coming off the M8. I have an appointment for 30mins then I have to go away for 4 hours, then come back to collect the passport.

Big Al's car park! Its indoors, a big single storey unit right next to the piping centre at Cowcaddens, £5-£6 for a full day from memory which is pretty good for indoor city parking.

Usually some nice metal inside to look at too, Pork, Ferrari etc smile

Edited for link, it's on Dunblane Street http://g.co/maps/dxfst

Cambridge St, multi story is nearby. Pretty cheap and clean.

Thanks for that guys, I'll get something one of them. I'm always careful where I park and will happily park at the far end of the car park to avoid tight spaces and any unwanted damage.

Don't use the Merc dealership spaces as suggested then, its very tight and my car has been dinged whilst in for a service, I'll now happily take it to the dealership in Hamilton to guarantee spacious parking!

Another option is Concert Square and it's just a 5min walk to the Passport Office
