I am going on an Exhilirate Scotland Oban Tour which leaves from, and returns to, Bridge of Lochay Hotel in Killin.

Myself and my brother in law are going on the tour which means we need somewhere to leave the missuses!

Anyone got any recommendations for Spa type hotels in the area, or maybe a luxury log cabin or something? Have looked at the Crieff Hydro but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

And the cheaper (cost) the better!

Gleneagles is not so far away

Might sound a but mad but it depends when you are going & if you ring them up you might be able to get some kind of a deal off them.

Even if it cost a few quid extra, the number of "points" you'd win for that one would be immense wink

I've no idea about prices, or practicality for hiring for a day, but the log cabins on the shore of Loch Lubnaig are meant to be pretty nice, they're only about a 20 minute drive from Killin too.

No its not, it now has fully equiped bars. Its very busy with families during holiday time so lots of kids running about. The lodges are very good, well equiped and quite luxurious with stunning views. Self catering is probably best which you can do in the lodges.
