Never seen one that colour before.....

Very rare - seen on some C Class coupe's (W203 series), assuming its the same shade.
Its a Designo colour - not a one off, but rarly specified. Looks much nicer IMO than the 'mint' green alternative which us much more common (but still rare).
Is the black interior a best choice ? There were green alternatives - but its getting it just right.
My SLK is Designo Orange with matching orange leather seats, door cards, steering wheel and roll bars - and it works - if a little expensive to spec for the original owner (who only did 300 miles before passing away). I keep meaning to try and find out how many exist with this spec - I know of about three other UK cars but they all have the black interiors.

I think its a bit more yellow than the SL. Personally I love all these unusual Designio combinations: so much more interesting than the usual Silver/Black or Silver/Grey (like my car). Your SLK sounds great, but as they say "useless without pics" !

I love it because it is different. I don't suppose I would have ordered that colour in a million years but I am glad someone did. There was a w220 S500 for sale a while back in the same colour but with black and red leather interior. For what it's worth, on this SL the exterior colour is 024 designo light green. The leather could be standard black or X11 designo black; it looks like the latter. The wood looks like W02 magic eyes designo ultramarine. The paint job on the w203 sports coupe is 800 heliodor green.
