Looks like it might be an irish plate from Cork.

Could be Irish it was the english type face that threw me,just got used to seeing EU style plates from Ireland incidently pre87 so "C" would indicate the car was first registered in Carlow ,Cork was "F".Yes the 300SE looks nice mind you so does the S3 4.2 Jag!

Ha your right, I didnt get that far down the wikipedia page to see the pre-87 system!

The S3 XJ6 is my favourite Jag saloon and that one is gorgeous. The seats and cabin look so inviting.
