A couple of times over the last week I have been woken up by the sound of tyres and engine's at about 2:30 as a cople of cars are using the roundabout at the top of our road for drift practice. This lasts for 5 or ten mins then they drag off down the road.
When you go out the next day the tarmac has loads of rubber down.

Now I am not a kill joy but can you please either do it at a more reasonable time or advertise so we can come and watch at the moment its just spioling a good nights sleep.

No we live half way between the ford garage and the rounabout with the plane on it, so you have a roundabout at each end and one in the middle loads of cars and bikes use the road as a race way late at night.

I doubt the are PHers,
Have you reported it to the police? There's a lot of CCTV around there.

I agree about not being on the site but it was worth a shot.
No I have not reported it yet but I wouldn't be suprised if someone has, we are by no means the closest to the roundabout.

Email the local officers. They had a big problem with drifters in the Morissons car at the same sort of time, loads of complaints and Morrison's eventually put a barrier up, which is probably why they moved locations.

I live just down the road and haven't heard anything for a while

I must admit I have noticed various roundabouts in the area are becoming covered in rubber! I know of two proper drift cars in the area but wouldnt have thought it would be them as they compete at the Pod.

The business park may of caught it. There security office is in the same block as the aviator cafe and bar.

I doubt its proper drifters anyway. Why spend 10k making a car competitive and not spending the few quid on the drift day.. more likely people in lightly spec'd rwd cars.

feel for you.. International airport and now drifters haha

The only time we hear the planes is when they do engine tests and we do get the smell of aviation fuel quite often, on the up side we can sit in the garden with a BBQ and free airshow every other year.
