Hi

Just started to look into getting a motor boat has to be diesel

Idea for getting it to have it in the med for the summer months not sure where in winter open to ideas

Only looking at something to stay on for 4,adults for a long weekend or 2 for a week at most

From a quick chat with local boat yard have been told its got to be 2 engines and no smaller than 32 ft
Bit I'm finding hard to find are costs for moorings and what's better buy out in the med and keep it out there full time

Trying not to make the mistake of spending all the money on the boat and then not being able to enjoy it at least once a month
How easy is it just to move from harbour to harbour or will I have to stay for a minimum time or get ripped of for short stays

Cheers
Adrian

We always worked on 10% of boats cost as an annual figure. Includes insurance, mooring, Maint, annual lift/de-foul, routine replacements (fireworks etc etc) if you'r lucky it
may even cover a bit of depreciation :-)
