Look for an early 996. I am well aware of the issues, but prepared to take the risk.

There are a few about, and lots have 80-90k on, which is fine.

But I have seen one that has 135k on. The pros are that it has clearly been looked after, just had new clucth kit, new bushes and suspension work, new radiators, new discs and pads. Its got FSH with ALL receipts/invocies and looks great.

The car will be a daily drive (about 60 miles a day) so whatever milage I buy, it will be going up! I am not usually scared of miles, had a few BMWs with 120k+ on and wifes car has 160k on it.

Would you get one with that kind of miles? Would HArtech accept it on the maintenance plan?

Thanks

Dave

Why didnt I think of that FFS!

Actually I did think of that, but he is a busy boy and probably could do without someone else asking him questions!

Besides, we all know that internet forums are the most reliable place for information.

FFS (sorry, it's contagious)

Download the Hartech buyers guide, it should address all your questions - if it doesn't then I'm sure Hartech won't mind addressing specific question you have based on researching their materials.
