Hi all, just joined PH..wow what a great resource..well ive decided to take the plunge..although a small one....read your files with great interest and made several notes..a least in my head..so began looking for a boxter 3.2 ...black preferably and not too expensive..ive been quite surprised what you can access with a smallish budget...under 8k...so found some unbelievable cars..and thats the clue...porche 47k...less than 7k..slight damage..wow!!!!...rang yes its still available...im interested...ill just make a quick check..bloomin hec..cat d AND an earlier cat c write off....called dealer...advised accordingly...ok sad but ...hmm too good to be true...well yes....ok on to another ...75k miles..again under 7k...yes maybe..but quick check...recorded miles at dvla...102,000..of course it may be incorrect....bloomin hec...called dealer just to let him know....

thanks to you all..now even more cautious .lessons learnt...i hope...lol...john
