party hotel in miami

im going to miami next weekend on a work jolly and am lookig to book a good hotel. initial searches lead me to the mondrian and the shore on south beach, however does anyone here have any recomendations from experience?

The Clevelander...non stop party hotel. They have bikini compettitions through the day and a roof top bar as well. Smack bang in the middle of Ocean Drive

The Shore Club is pretty good....rooms are fairly austere though....concrete floors. Good thing about staying there is that you can get in the bars which are very popular....Sky Bar I think it's called.

Weren't any Bikini comps when I was there but that was in May.....we found plenty of entertainment though

My vote goes for the Mondrian, bit more upmarket than the Clevelander, always had great service there, rooms are nice and there always seems to be a constant conveyer belt of eye candy around.

That's probably a reference to the 'latin' temperament you encounter as soon as you land and their laid back attitude to immigration and baggage (read 'laid back' as total disorganisation - sometimes)

day two....... day one f****d me up! the clevelander is certainly a party place alright, its ideal for what I wanted for 4 days of miami partying, but not sure I could handle more the that! off out now to watch the Miami Heat!

went to watch he Miami heat last night. bought tickets in the dewars lounge. great food and view and my first Basketball game. plan for today is up for a wander, hire jet ski then party night tonight.
