New addition SLK 230K
Discussion
After what has been the most frustrating car search I remember we have finally found a car we were happy with, original thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Collect this tomorrow evening

Will post some better pics once it is home and the sun makes another appearance.
It is a 2 previous owner car with 79k on the clock and fsh, previous owner was a doctor and hasnt scrimped on maintanence. It was bought as a comfy replacment for an MX5. Will keep you updated as to how we get on with it,
Jamie

Hi your SLK looks good - I've recently aquired a similar version and although its not my usual type of car I'm enjoying the lazy comfy commute to work and back.
I have a question - should the windows drop a few mm when opened and lift when closed as mine don't but I feel they should?
If they should what do I need to fix?
The windows rise and fall perfectly well otherwise.
Cheers
Steve

Do you mean as in when you open the doors like in A BMW coupe? If so then no they dont and none of the ones we viewed (and that was plenty!) did either.I have a question - should the windows drop a few mm when opened and lift when closed as mine don't but I feel they should?

Hope this helps
