Hi folks,

I'm wondering if someone can assist a friend of mine. He's seriously interested in a 968 CS (with comfort seats) that has just arrived on the market but hasnt ever had the chance to sit in one. It is quite important that he does however as he's a tall chap and leg/headroom have been an issue in previous choices of his.

So, would anyone have a 968 in the Aberdeen area and be willing to let him have a seat in it to check if it's feasible?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Mark,

Thanks for doing that. I can't even think of the last time I saw 968 let alone knew someone with one. There's bound to be one up here somewhere though. Lets hope one crawls out of the woodwork!

Cheers

There used to be a purple one that went around Aberdeen many years ago, but not seen one recently.

I'm sure there was an episode of Wheeler Dealers on Discovery over Xmas that had either 968 or 928 as the feature car, and the guy Ed who fixes them up is very tall.

Angelus,

Thanks for the info. Would you be able to put me in touch with Sandy to get a chance to see his car?

Cheers

There are a good half dozen or so 968's that kick around Aberdeen.

Unless he is above 6ft 3, I don't think there would be a problem. Regardless of the seat design.

As mentioned I sold my CS in December...

I'm about 6'5 and mine had the fixed back Recaro seats. It was a bit tight on leg room but then most cars are for me.

If I remember correctly you sit a bit higher up with the comfort seats so it probably depends on the individual's build (long body/leg etc).

Not sure which seats Sandy's CS has but it's the best colour! smile

Thanks for the comments folks.

Well he's a rather freakish 6' 8" so need to doublecheck these things. He had to fold himself up to fit in a Lambo and there was a moment of genuine concern that he wouldn't be able to get out again when he tried to fit behind the wheel of my Aston the other day. He is a rather unfortunate height. Sooooo many amazing cars he just can't fit.
