Mgb rev-counter wiring?
Discussion
Ok I'm either really unlucky or I'm still having problems with this newfangeld electricery stuff.
So am I right in thinking:
One wire goes in from the ignition switch, then wiggles around, and another wire takes it to the coil. Then one wire is a normal 12v in, and the other earthed?
If i am right then I have 2 faulty rev counters.

Have a check on this website http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk There's some very good info on the B.

From memory, the tacho has a switched supply, and earth, also there is a wire from the ignition switch that LOOPS on the back of the tacho but has no actual connection to it,this wire then continues to to ignition coil as the supply for it. If the loop does not flow in the correct direction the tacho needle will not move.
